Road maintenance is a separate fee. Our policy is to routinely maintain our private roads.
Snowplow service for all private roads is a shared community expense billed initially in November. Depending on the severity of the winter, an additional Spring billing may be necessary to cover the total winter bill. Snowplow service for personal driveways must be arranged by the Wilderness Valley property or homeowner.
The dumpsters are located on private property as a favor to WVPOA and the rules are posted (see sign below). Your voluntary clean-up of the dumpster area is appreciated. The dumpster area is monitored by security surveillance cameras.
Once a year, Hayes Township has a special refuse collection for batteries, lawn mowers, appliances, furniture and building material which are not permitted in our dumpsters. Contact any Hayes Township official or their website for details.
The use of the dumpsters is only for residents who have paid the current annual service fee. Place all rubbish inside the dumpster, then close the lid. Do not leave trash outside or around dumpsters. All rubbish must be in garbage bags, boxes should be broken down. Household garbage only. No building materials, machinery, hazardous waste, chemicals, furniture, appliances, etc. are allowed. No lawn clippings, leaves, or brush. Place your bagged garbage in rear of dumpster when possible. Residents who have not paid their annual dues or outside dumpers are subject to a $500.00 fine. Please report any misuse of the dumpsters to a current board member. Dumpsters are monitored by security surveillance cameras.
